The DeepCool Assassin IV VC Vision is DeepCool’s flagship dual-tower CPU air cooler, combining a vapor-chamber-enhanced base with a quad-segmented digital display panel to deliver both high thermal performance and real-time CPU monitoring in a single package. At the heart of its thermal solution is a large planar vapor chamber that extracts heat from the CPU contact plate, equalises it across its surface, and channels it upward through seven 6 mm heat pipes into two black-coated fin-array towers. This architecture allows the cooler to handle a rated TDP of 300 W, making it well-suited for high-core-count Intel Core Ultra and AMD Ryzen 9 processors. The standout visual feature is the magnetised quad-segmented digital display, measuring 44.6 × 53.6 mm. Controlled through DeepCool’s software over a single USB 2.0 header, the panel can show CPU temperature, utilisation, wattage, and frequency at a glance. A colour-coded temperature-alert thermometer is built into the display: green below 80 °C, orange between 80 °C and 90 °C, and flashing red above 90 °C, giving an immediate visual warning during heavy workloads. Cooling is handled by a 140 mm True FDB main fan and a 120 mm True FDB rear fan, both using three-phase, six-slot, four-pole motors with fluid dynamic bearings for long-term reliability and low operating noise. A physical mode-selector switch toggles between Performance and Quiet modes without any software intervention. In Performance Mode the 140 mm fan spins up to 1800 RPM and delivers 61.25 CFM, while the system noise remains at or below 29.3 dB(A). In Quiet Mode the same fan tops out at 1450 RPM and the overall noise floor drops to 22.6 dB(A) or lower. The rear 120 mm fan’s snap-in frame can be repositioned between two height levels, and an optional third-fan bracket is included for users who want to add an additional fan. The recessed position of the 140 mm centre fan also directs airflow downward across motherboard VRMs. The cooler ships with DeepCool’s DM9 industrial-grade thermal paste pre-applied or included. The all-black aesthetic features a clean shroud designed to channel airflow efficiently, and the relocatable 120 mm fan frame provides unobstructed clearance for high-profile RAM modules.
