The Gigabyte Z590 AORUS ELITE DDR4 is an ATX form-factor motherboard built on the Intel Z590 Express Chipset for LGA1200-compatible 11th Generation (Rocket Lake) and 10th Generation (Comet Lake) Intel Core processors. At the heart of its power delivery is a direct 12+1 phase digital VRM solution, pairing a digital PWM controller with 60A DrMOS components. An 8-pin plus 4-pin ATX 12V power connector arrangement ensures stable power delivery during sustained workloads and overclocking sessions. Four DDR4 DIMM slots support up to 128 GB of dual-channel non-ECC unbuffered memory, with XMP profile support and overclocked speeds reaching DDR4-5400 (OC) on compatible 11th Gen processors. Storage versatility is addressed through three M.2 connectors, each accommodating Socket 3 M-key drives up to 22110 length. One slot (M2A_CPU) supports PCIe 4.0 x4 with an 11th Gen processor installed, while the remaining two slots handle PCIe 3.0 x4 or SATA drives. Six SATA 6 Gb/s connectors provide additional storage bandwidth. The primary PCIe x16 slot runs at full PCIe 4.0 x16 speed with an 11th Gen CPU, supplemented by a secondary x16 slot wired at x4 and a PCIe 3.0 x1 slot.
