The Gigabyte Z690 Aorus Ultra WiFi is a full-ATX motherboard built around the Intel Z690 Express Chipset, designed to pair with 12th Generation Intel Core i5, i7, and i9 processors in the LGA1700 socket. It targets enthusiasts and overclockers who demand strong power delivery, ample storage bandwidth, and fast wireless connectivity in a single platform. Power delivery is handled by a 16+1+2 phase Direct VRM design rated at 105 A per power stage, backed by tantalum polymer capacitors. Heat is managed through Gigabyte's Fins-Array II heatsink — a louvered stacked-fin structure that increases surface area compared to conventional slab heatsinks — combined with a Direct-Touch Heatpipe II (8 mm) and 9 W/mK thermal pads on the MOSFETs.
