The Lian Li Lancool III RGB (model LANCOOL 3R-X) is an E-ATX mid-tower PC cabinet designed for builders who want generous cooling headroom, flexible storage, and a clean aesthetic. The chassis measures 526 mm (D) × 238 mm (W) × 523 mm (H) and is constructed from aluminium and 4.0 mm thick tempered glass on both the left and right side panels. Both panels are opened via front-mounted aluminium door handles, giving tool-friendly access to the main chamber. Cooling flexibility is a headline feature. The front, top, and bottom positions each accept a radiator up to 360 mm, so builders can run simultaneous triple-radiator configurations. Four fans are included out of the box: three 140 mm ARGB fans at the front and one 140 mm PWM fan at the rear. Fan mounting options extend further: the front multi-way bracket fits 3 × 120 mm or 3 × 140 mm fans, the top supports 3 × 120 mm or 3 × 140 mm fans, the above-PSU-chamber position takes 3 × 120 mm or 2 × 140 mm fans, and the rear accepts 1 × 120 mm or 1 × 140 mm fan. Motherboard compatibility covers E-ATX (up to 280 mm width), ATX, Micro-ATX, and Mini-ITX. Eight expansion slots are provided. GPU length clearance is rated at 420 mm maximum, and CPU cooler height clearance is 185 mm maximum, accommodating high-end air coolers. The PSU bay accepts ATX units up to 220 mm in length. Storage capacity is substantial and modular: 2 × 2.5-inch SSD behind the motherboard tray, 4 × 3.5-inch HDD or 2.5-inch SSD in the hard-drive cage, 3 × 2.5-inch SSD behind the right-side shroud panel, and 3 × 2.5-inch SSD above the PSU chamber. Each unused HDD/SSD tray can be individually removed to free up space or improve airflow. Cable management has been redesigned with two magnetic hinged back-side cable covers that are easier to open and fully removable. Eight velcro-channel straps are distributed at key routing points: four smaller straps near the rear CPU cutout, one small strap for short 24-pin cables, and three large dual-layer straps at the front. A sliding front-side cable cover can also mount a distribution plate; loosening a single screw behind the motherboard tray allows the bar to slide and accommodate wider boards. The front I/O panel includes a power button, reset button, C-mode and M-mode buttons for ARGB control, 2 × USB 3.0, and a combined audio jack. A single bottom dust filter is included. The case ships in black and carries a 1-year manufacturer warranty.
