At the heart of the H500i is the integrated Smart Device — a CAM-powered controller that consolidates fan management and RGB lighting into a single unit. It provides three fan channels with a maximum output of 10W per channel, one RGB LED port supporting up to four HUE LED strips or five Aer RGB fans, and a built-in noise detection module. This module is used by the Adaptive Noise Reduction feature, which measures ambient system noise and adjusts fan speeds automatically — removing the need to manually configure fan curves. Two Aer F120 case fans are included. Each runs at 1,200 ±200 RPM, delivers 50.42 CFM of airflow, and operates at 28 dBA, using a rifle bearing for longevity. Fan support extends to two 120mm or 140mm positions at the front, one 120mm or 140mm position at the top, and one 120mm at the rear.
