The Deepcool AK700 Digital NYX is a high-performance single-tower CPU air cooler designed for demanding desktop systems. It builds on the established AK Digital lineup with a refreshed thermal stack and a bold matte-black finish that suits a wide range of PC builds. At its core, the AK700 Digital NYX relies on seven 6 mm copper heat pipes routed through a precision-machined copper base. Deepcool's Core Touch Technology 2.0 (CTT 2.0) optimises direct contact between the copper base and the CPU integrated heat spreader, helping transfer heat away from the processor efficiently. The matrix fin array in the single-tower heatsink is tuned for high airflow density, making the most of the 120 mm fan attached to it. The 120 mm fan uses a hydraulic bearing and a three-phase, six-slot, four-pole motor design. It spins up to 2,700 RPM (±10%) and moves up to 77.23 CFM of air at a static pressure of 5.13 mmAq. Noise output is rated at 21.0, 28.8, or 36.0 dB(A) across its operating range. A 4-pin PWM connector lets the motherboard or Deepcool's DeepCreative software control fan speed automatically. The software's AI-driven algorithm monitors CPU load in real time and adjusts the fan curve accordingly, balancing noise and cooling without manual BIOS tuning. The standout feature is the quad-segmented digital display module mounted on the cooler body. It shows CPU temperature, utilisation, wattage, and frequency in real time. The display runs at 5 VDC (0.13 A ±10%, 0.65 W) and connects to a standard USB 2.0 header on the motherboard. The active display area measures 29 × 39 mm. Offset heat pipes within the tower increase clearance around the memory slots, accommodating tall RAM heat spreaders and keeping all DIMM slots accessible after installation.
