The GIGABYTE X870M Aorus Elite WiFi 7 is a Micro-ATX motherboard built on the AMD X870 chipset for the AM5 socket, offering a feature-rich foundation for Ryzen 7000, 8000, and 9000 series processors in a compact 24.4 cm × 24.4 cm footprint. Its power delivery system centres on a 14-phase VCORE design using 60 A DrMOS components arranged in a 7+7 parallel configuration, supplemented by two 60 A DrMOS SOC phases and two MISC phases, ensuring stable power delivery under sustained CPU loads and overclocking scenarios. Memory support spans four DDR5 DIMM slots in a dual-channel architecture, accommodating up to 256 GB total capacity (up to 64 GB per DIMM). Speeds range from standard 4400 MT/s up to 8200 MT/s with overclocking, and the board supports both AMD EXPO and Intel XMP profiles for straightforward memory performance tuning. Connectivity is a standout strength.
